Since 2005 we’ve been sewing peoples ideas into reality and designing our own product ranges. 10 years has given us a really wide range of experiences with different materials, a multitude of ways of making things and general business experience. Starting out of a warehouse way back then with 1 industrial machine we now work out of a great workshop in Castlemaine with quite a few more specialist machines and lots of experience under our belts.
Our core line of products has always revolved around canvas and using the bicycle for everyday living. We started of with the “reflecto” now known as the Reflective Legband and in 2008 we released our Commuter Pannier. The range has grown as the business has grown and now also includes useful home and garden wares such as the Firewood Sling and Big Bucket Bag.
Alongside the finished products we make and sell we offer an industrial sewing service. This can be for one-off items — like these site specific shade sails we did for a local artists’ collective, and ‘Felt Man’ we were contracted to make for educational purposes — or small batch manufacturing, like these canvas boxes. We offer this service Australia wide. We can help you to come up with a solution for your protoype and production needs whether you are a large organisation, designer or individual needing sewing, cut, make and trim, prototyping, small test batches or ongoing small to larger size production runs. We do all these services in our workshop, if you require other services to complement your job we can point you in the right direction.
We hate throwing things away. We offer a repair service and assess everything on a case by case basis as to what is possible. For example we can repair canvas awnings, or chair covers. This service is limited to the Castlemaine are unless you’re prepared to deliver and pick up your item.
Reclaimed Materials Philosophy
So many things are thrown away that can be put to creative and beautiful use given some imagination. Reclaiming industrial discards and giving them a new lease on life has always been a passion of ours. We like to source materials that other people, generally larger industry, throw away. We like to think of ourselves as wombles in that respect. We also consider the whole lifecycle of our materials and the products they are made into, ensuring our products are constructed to last the distance. We really, really, dislike waste. We mix new and reclaimed materials in our products and always choose the best quality materials we can find.

REFUND & EXCHANGE POLICY & RETURN TIMEFRAMES
If you feel the product you bought from us isn’t what you thought it would be, please contact us. We can arrange a replacement, or refund if you prefer that. We want you to be happy with your purchase. You should contact us within seven days of receiving your purchase with your concerns, and when returned, the product should be unused and unmarked.
If your product is defective, please contact us and we’ll see what has happened. We can give you a replacement or refund. We make our products to last, so if yours doesn’t, let’s talk. For panniers, please refer to your instruction sheet on how to care for your pannier. If you’ve lost your instructions, please let us know and we’ll email you a new sheet. Its important you follow the instructions on setup and care.
When you put in an order through our website or over the phone, well make sure we post it out within two business days of completed payment. If there is a problem with supply we’ll let you know as soon as we receive the order. We use Australia Post, so once your purchase has left our hands, we’re relying on them. Always contact us if you think the delivery is taking too long and we’ll investigate for you. Delivery to Melbourne usually takes 1-3 days, Sydney and other capitals 2-4 days. Outside metro areas, 2-5 days and more if you are in a remote area. At Christmas time delivery times are always a day or two longer. International deliveries can take up to 3 weeks.
Prices quoted are in Australian Dollars, inclusive of 10% GST. If you are ordering from outside Australia, you won’t be charged GST.
We will sell wholesale to retail stores with a mind to an ongoing relationship. Just contact us request our wholesale price list. Payment policy is upfront payment for all products. Postage for your order will be calculated on ordering, this usually costs $15-$25 depending on your location in relation to us (eg a Perth or Queensland order will unfortunately cost more to post than a Sydney order). We use Australia Post or a Courier for deliveries.
Postage is added at the checkout according to your location. We use the Australia Post app that calculates postage according to size and weight, it has been impressively accurate.
